what psi you running in the nittos? |
roughly 30 psi. |
Lower it...try 25, 20, 18...see what happens and update this thread. I've seen people get 1.7 '60 fts on nittos |
You think its possible while still trying to baby the rear end though? I have to drive 2 hours to get to the track, I don't want to break so far away. |
I wouldn't take any risks since you have an M6 and a 10-bolt. Definitely have a plan to geth home when you go to the track. |
Yeah I hear the m6 is hell on the stock 10 bolt, so I wouldn't push the launchs to hard. I have a buddy with an 02 ws6 m6, and he doesn't believe me at all that his rear end will break launching it hard, He has only done like 2-3 hard launchs, but it's coming soon. Hey op, how do you like your nittos? I am debating between nittos, bfgs or mickeys. I know they say the mickeys are the best, but they are also 200$ a tire for the street radials. |
Mickeys are the best for traction. If you have a bolt on car or cam only car then the nittos aren't bad for a street machine. If you are a track guy, you might want the M/Ts. I have nittos, ask me questions if you wish. |
I agree with allbaugh 04. I got the nittos because I daily drive the car and they are supposed to last longer. I can floor it in 1st and not spin on dry roads. I have a line lock, so I get them nice and sticky at the track, and I did NOT spin at the dragway. However I do pussy foot it off the line. |
