affect of 373's???
 

right now i have a best of 12.061 at 114, i run consistant 12.1's at 112.....402/381.....3000 stall 323 gears....i have 373's that should be in tommaro, any idea what that will drop the times to? iv heard everything from 11.5 to just getting 1-2 tenths tops.....opinions? facts? all answeres appreciated thanks

I switched from 3.42's to 4.10's in my six speed and gained 2 tenths and 3 mph in the 1/8th

My car ran a best of 13.35 stock, it was running 13.40s in the weather we had, we through the mid length headers on and the next week I ran 12.98. I then got gears (3.73s) and it sped me up about 2 tenths to the 12.70s. After I got it tuned I ran a best of 12.43 @ 112. I just through a 2800 stall into mine and ran 12.28 @ 111.96?. So gears didnt drastically help me out, but the do a little.

mine was odd i guess did gears and didn't gain a thing,acctually slowed down from 9.0s to 9.10s 1/8, then i changed to a vig 3600 and dropped .9 sec from 9.10 1/8 to 8.20's. i guess its all in the car and set up.

yea it will def. help peakier cars out more than ones with a flatter curve, that and weather being a factor

I hope to find out how much they help my car on Sunday. I had 2.73 gears the last time I went so I'm hoping I see a good gain with 3.73s.

12.28 with mid length headers is good! Congrats on the good times!
