OK guys and Gals what you think it will run in the 1/8-1/4 and how much hp you think it has. hopping for 12s,.My car has 273s as of now..The Tracks I run at is 87/149/300 above sea level and it usually mid 70s-high 80s when I run.My car is an 02 Z28 A4 with 42K miles My mods are...Thanks Jimmy...

My best time with the mods above is 8.62@84mph..

The gears and a tune should get you there . Not sure about the frt sway bar delete .I like the way my ride handles .Thats 1 of the reasons I bought a 4th gen F body . I went 13.4 @ 105mph (8.8 @ 83mph in the 1/8) in my 98 Z A4 with 273's ,Magna flow C/B ,and a SLP lid . I did my 373's ,Tune and 315 35 17 D/R's so Ill let you know as soon as the tracks open up and the 2 ft of snow is gone

Ok thanks, Last year I went 8.70@83 mph with Lid,K&N,TB bypass,Smooth bellows,85 mm maf. Ok I heard taking off the front sway bar helps your 60ft time..

Removing the sway bar might help as a weight reduction, but I also am not going to take mine off. It can not make that big of a difference.

With gears and the other mods you should be high 12's. Other than LT's and ORY you are where I am at.

Thanks thats what iam hoping. I have added most of the mods this winter. I had stock exhaust on the also..Its an Auto so I won't have any problems with shifting.

No Colonial beach should of open on feb,20. It might open this saturday..If it gets warm and melts this snow.. Sumerduck opens march 7th. I run at both of them Colonial Beach and Sumerduck.

O i c, i've never been to colonial beach how is the track? i usually head down to richmond. I gotta work this saturday anyway though.

Colonial beach is better than sumerduck.. My car is faster at colonial beach than sumerduck. Its the next closest track than MIR. Iam gonna run my car till I go get and install the rearend my dads buddy gave me..Test N Tune is usely fridaynight but its the begining of the year they will be fridays the first friday in april..

I just ordered a circle D 3000-3200 Stall and I ordered Pacesetter ceramic coated LT's with TSP ORY with 02 extensions. Iam gonna get frost to tune it. But I don't now if I should wait till I put the 342/373 gear rear end and 160 stat in first before I get it tuned.

I wish they would get here faster Its been a month since I ordered them. I have LT's/ORY/Stall/160stat/DR's/Frost Tune. will been done. Iam going with 373s also. Its all good lets race..

When I get back from my family reunion after next weekend. I'am gonna start installing my Stall/LT's/ORY/160stat/B&M Super Cooler with a 29,800 BTU/DR's. I'am woundering if its gonna hurt anything if I drive it around without a tune. I now I won't get the full potinial out of it. I'am gonna get Frost to tune it when he has time.



How much should I pickup after the install of the parts before and after a tune. If its gonna hurt anything running it hard before a tune I won't run it till I get a tune..Thanks Jimmy..

Where would be the safest and highest I should set the shift points on a stock internal car. Where should I set the Idle at or keep it at .500-.550

My shift points are set to @ 6100 on 1-2 shift then @6200-6300 on 2-3 shift . Idle ??? Mine is @ 700ish

Ok thanks so thats where I'am gonna put mine at then. Mine Idles at 500-550. wounder why so low I can't wait till I install all the parts. Stall/LT's/ORY/160stat/later down the road 373s.
