Fastest bolt on M6 F-Body?
So Ive been stuck in the low 13s for a year now tuned, full bolt on (less pulleys), full weight M6 01 z28 (mods in sig) fastest run was 13.01 @ 110 with a 2.1 60', So this year I added a bunch of suspension and a rear, clutch, rebuilt trans (also gained 120lbs) and ran 13.13 @109 with a 2.0 60' had alot of wheel hop even with my 275/40-17 MT streets I ordered adj LCAs (have non adj right now) and relo brackets to help with wheel hop, so this led to me and my buddy to have this discussion to what the fastest time for a bolt on 6 speed F-body is?

11.98@115.8 back in 01/01. This was 348 rwhp and 3500 lbs.
Check the stock internal list in the Drag section for the list of the quickest bolt on cars.
Here is the the quickest on the list currently:
ATwelveSec02Z28 11.424 @ 119.26 (1.53), 02 Camaro Z28 M6, RAM, 4.56, 3300, 12/06
With being limited to around 350-360 rwhp most of the M6 cars have to be really light to get deep into the 11's. Your track elevation and DA is really going to make a big difference also.

I also do 12.9 @ 109 stock with no tune. It's a 2000 ss Camaro m6. My sixty foot is at best I think with a 1.97...I think I can actuAlly do a little better but need more practice. Oh yea this is with nitto drags out back set at 20 psi.
All this was done at Sacramento raceway.

I know Ill get into the 12s soon as i get my 60' down below a 2.0 not worried about it. That was my first time out this year just need more practice with new slave cyl + clutch and new rear with 4.10s its a night and day from the stockers, I just wanted to know how fast a bolt on M6 could go.

We'll I bought my car about 2 months ago.. It had already had SLP lt's, y pipe, 3 1/2 all the way back, no cats, pullies, tuned, and an intake. Since, i've had it, i've done BMR springs, koni struts, bmr panhard bar, lca's, lca relo brackets, and subframes, along with a full tune up, all the fluids, plugs wires, etc. Would it be safe to say I would be in the 12's, Btw its a 00 M6 TA, and will be runnin on stock ws6 wheels with goodyear eagle f1's..?

It definately depends on the driver. If youve never driven a six speed car at the track, you might be dissapointed the first time you go. Give it some practice and that car should definately be in the 12s.
Look at your trap speed though. I think 109 or somewhere in that area is good for 12s.

Thanks for the replies, I've always owned a manual car, and raced the track since I was 16, just first time owning a f-body always had built mustangs before, the track I run on in Atlanta is only 1/8th, but run at Orlando Speedworld when I'm in orlando 1/4.. hopefully will get down to Orlando in the next 2 weeks to get to the track.. Will post times as soon as I can..

NSSANE02 has done alot of work to his car since his 11.51 pass, he should be the quickest once he gets it back together.
