@507
I think that's the best I can do maybe I can drop a 10th if I would have have hit the nittos harder.. I prefer 12.1's on street tires.. I smoke me a colorful Honda ..
@kevin
All I have is eldelbrock shortys, lid, Underdrives, full exhaust w/single outlet, potted TB, Nittos555R, no AC compressor..
Trust,
Stock suspension..Automatic..
12.1s on street tires is good for me..
If I wanted high 11's I slap on my Drag Radials.. But puts me in the "fast lanes" with 9/10 second cars..

Stock stall? If you want 12.1's, put a decent tire on it, the 555R is a drag radial, not a street tire, so try the NT05R instead, 555R's are old tech. If you want to stay with the 555R's, you need some more power, a stall, or gears. A stall will get you there easily, if you don't want a stall, do gears or longtubes, shorties suck.
If you are running the 12.3's on a street tire and not the 555R's a stall won't help because you'll just blow the tires off, so go for something more linear, I'd say LT's.

i have to live with my "shortys" bad choice...
i was just thinking to bump it up to a 75 shot with the 555r's and see what happens.. NT05R sounds good, i think that's going to be my next future mod..

A friend of mine at work is running a slightly built ws6 and we are having a fun spat on who is gonna win a heads up race this spring at the track. His car sounds and looks good. the pic of yours in the burnout looks pretty damn good. keep it up you should be able to hit lower 12's or high 11's with just a little bit more work.

Thanks fellas..
I don't Think I'm going to weld anything but the girdle sounds like
A good idea..
I jump off the line just over 2300 on Nitto's 555 drag radials..
