I thought I did ok for a first timer..Was stalling it up to 1300 and taking off..Running stock 245s at the moment. Have a cheap pair of 275s lined up for me this week to buy. All my mods are in my sig..w/o telling me to buy more stuff that I already know I need..any tips or helpful hints that you can pass along to help me lower my times with the mods I have done? Seems like the car has more potential

very cool that your first 1/4 mile pass ever was in the 12's

extremely consistent between the passes in all phases , 60 foots , traps ,et's especially considering you dont have tires in place to hook the car and have poor 60 foots for an f body

get those tires on and see what happens but you will really need a dr or slick on it to hook well. Maybe another member in your area will let you borrow or rent a pair of dr's for a pass while they are cooling down or something ???

Just bought some 17x9.5 ZR1's with Nitto radials on it. Has a few more passes left in the tires so we shall see how I do come this saturday. Racing at the crap dragway of Michigan that no one really likes, but its just down the road from me so I'm not complaining haha

Nice first outing man. The autos make these cars perform so well at the track. Our times are pretty close and your trap is pretty much like mine. I have a Yank 2800, LT's with xpipe/dumps, lid, and dyno tune. When you get new 275's, I recomend BFG's KDW. I LOVE them. Excellent road manners and yeilded a 1.84 60' in my car @ 18psi. I went 12.74 @ 108.2

Ok dropped down my time. Guess Im retarded and do not know how to do burnout haha. Wasnt able to get the tires spinning..My guess is that I was holding down the break to far or something. Ran a total 8 times so heres the list. I ran the tank roughly at 1/4, just a tad more maybe. At one point during the burnout I wasn't paying attention and I actually had the gas pedal to the floor, would that harm anything?

1( FOUL)
Reaction +.111 (I thought fouls were a - and not a + ?)

60ft 2.017

3)Reaction- +.169

1/4- 12.731
MPH- 108.89

4)Reaction - + .003

1/4- 12.853
MPH 108.60

5)Reaction- +.099
60ft- 2.079
1/4- 12.921
MPH- 108.68

6) Reaction - +.151
60ft- 2.043
1/4- 12.809
MPH- 109.33

7) Reaction - +.052
60ft- 2.315
1/4- 13.669
MPH- 105.86

8) FOUL
Reaction - -.018
60ft- 2.118
1/4- 12.874

The tires I ran were a 275/40/17 Nittor 555? They only had a few passes left in them from what I was told. 18psi in tires.

That's gettin more like it. Get a real dyno tune and you should be mid 12's.
