Thanks mam I have ms4+supporting mods, lt's, ory, cutout, ls6 intake, fast tb, lid, 4k stall, beefed up 4l60, 4.10 gears, sfc, bmr torque arm, bmr lower control arms. Next mods should be dyno tune, switch to 3.73 and some weight loss.

Yea that's what the plan is and I live in central fl right outside of Orlando I go to osw to race. What about yourself?

We either meet at OSW or Lakeland usually.

sorry to be a negative nancy, but I would be PISSED if I had and MS4 cam with supporting mods and ran that.... your car should run those numbers with your mods MINUS THE CAM.. Id expect to be .5 and 5mph faster

finally someone said it. that car should be trapping 118 get a good dyno tune man no way in hell id be running at the track without one in that car. dounds like its pretty off to be trapping113

It was the first time the cars been to the track. and the mph is lacking bc 4.10's with the A4. Running was just a spur of the moment thing to shut my friends up. The tune and 3.73 are next and should deff pick up the 5 plus mph and 1/2 second easily.

gears are NOT hurting it.. tune definitely is

With a upgraded cam,converter, springs, exhuast, and 3.73 gears my 1/8th times are in the 7.80s is this about right for a 01 t/a

Thats great for you man but a good running cammed car should be running mid 7's. Not only that but the op's car is trapping 88 in the 1/8 bolt on cars do that.

OP gears ARE NOT hurting your time with an auto. You'll see maybe .1 going to 4.10's the stall in a4's masks the need for gears unlike an m6 which will benefit greatly from them.The gears will just tighten up driving for the stall. You need a good dyno tune and see what happens.

just went bottom 7's on 1.57 60' on a 2.73, thats right, 2.73 gear with a way too tight tci 3800 stall with a 238/24x cam in my bro's car
