2 of your points are your looking to get in 11's and your on street tires pulling 2.0 60 foots , I would start with some good dedicated tires for use at the track your going to need them to meet your 11's goal anyway MT et streets work well on an auto car , but stick cars like a slick that can wrinkle a bit to lessen the shock on the 10 bolt.
plenty of bolt on stock internals cars in the 11's on here best advice I can give you is read up on all the posts in the 11 second section and pay attention to what mods are on the cars acheiving your end goal.
but your topic title is about getting in the 12's what do you have for bolt ons now ? are you stick or auto ? stall ? not much info for us to go on but I would think sticky tires should drop at least 3 tenths off your 60 foot ( conservatively) which puts you 7.6/7.7 eighth mile which should be in the 12's.

11 second bolt-on car here as well.
Sticky tires, probably a 3600-4000 stall, all the normal bolt-on's and maybe a little weight pulled. It's really not that hard to do 11's with bolt-on's in these cars, most people just don't mod correctly and can't drive lol.

i just looked through some of my old slips, and comparing to my old 2000 stock auto car i ran 13.20s and teens with 2.1 60 ft and 8.40s in the 1/8 and my current m6 cam with bolt ons 2.0 60ft has gone 8.0s in the 1/8 and 12.30s .
it could be very possible that you are in the twelves right now. however listen to theses guys and get some sticky tires !!

tires and the right stall should get you low to mid 12's. with a high quality stall you can step up closer to 4000 and still have great drivability/mileage in lock up. Then just pick away at bolt ons that will support your eventual heads/cam well ( intake & exhaust mods)
Do you have a 1/4 mile track nearby also ?

You don't always need tires and stall to run mid 12s. I pulled 12.2s-12.3s with longtubes, ORY, cat-back, lid, 3.73s, and a tune (2001 automatic SS). I was on street tires as well. It did take a stall and drag radials, etc to get into the 11s. Not all cars respond exactly the same however, so take everyone's results and make the best judgement you can regarding what to mod.

As long as your car does the same up top, you're in the 12s with an 8.0 1/8th. The MPH is what makes no sense to me. Granted my car backhalfs a lot, I went 7.98 to the 1/8th at 88 and 12.36 to the 1/4 at 112.25 (one of my runs, not my best).
Trey, when did you sell your car??

Automatic transmission, average tune at best, good air, sticky track.
His car is not running 8.0 with that mph and that 60' unless the track is shorter than 660' like posted below.
I live in the south and my home track is the full 660', but if his track is 40 feet shorter then his results make sense.
Based on your 1/4 mph you probably trapped 83mph in the 1/8th
Could be different DA? That's odd.

What wheels/tires are they, and did you try stalling the car up a bit?
