Default 12.9@106 with stock 2000 LS1/T56 (swap car)

Well I dont post much on here, figure I may as well start. November of last year, I finally got my 92 Lexus SC300 out to the track with the drag radials (275/50/15) and managed to squeeze a 12.9@106 with the stock ls1 swap at Royal Purple RW in Baytown, TX. Only mods are in my sig below. Car is still on the factory open diff with 4.27 gears, stock t56 and oem clutch. Launch was at 1900rpm, tires were at 20psi and still gave a slight shudder off the launch. Dont recall the 60ft time and I lost the slip, but still improving. I plan on installing some of the parts I have at my house at some time, and switching to a 275/60/15 DR. Would love some opinions.

Here is the in-car run, and one from outside that someone caught from the sideline:

Not terrible for a bolt on car that roughly weighs the same as an F-body. I think you can run faster with a few more practice runs.

How much does the car weigh? Are "Hooker Block Huggers" longtube headers? What RPM are you shifting at?

4.27 is way too much gear for that car, you shouldn't be shifting into 5th. 4th gear is 1:1 in the T56.

Cool swap though. I'd invest in a dyno tune as well.

The block huggers are shorties. At the time of the swap I was limited on info and unclear what would fit. Cars weight is unknown, have yet to make it to a scale, but it did run a base line of 314rwhp/308tq.

I'm planning a dyno tune after I get my cam swapped, etc. I was going to add an s475, but have changed plans a bit that also include the gears and a TRD diff.

I will be returning to the track soon with some new goodies, and hopefully a much better time. Ditching the 4.27 rear for a 3.76 LSD, Brute Speed blower cam (plans changed after install, going custom grind later with a new block), Fast 102/102 (I know, stock cubes, blah, useless, blah) 100mm MAF, 36lb/hr injectors and a tune. I have a set of 243's, but they are not ready to install yet, and Im planning a LQ stroker build so figure I would save them till then. Still running the same DR's 275/50/15, anyone feel that I would benefit any from switching to a 60 series? Any possible estimate on my et's?
