Default IS this Fast? 12.25ET @ 109.54 MPH Stock Engine

Does anyone think 12.25 ET @ 109.54 is fast for a bone stock 346 ci with headers, 3600-3800 stall converter, MT ET Street Radials and 3.23 gears in the video? That is my 99 Camaro and the engine has +186K miles on it.

See video:

My fastest time last year was 12.21 @ 110.13 MPH

I asked because I am not sure what's fast for what I have.

Thanks!!

Ok since you have a bit of weight reduction and a lighter tire/wheel combo than stock, then your times are still pretty good but nothing spectacular IMO

Not bad. I am right with you. My race weight was 3550 last time. In 2350 DA I went 12.2@110.

Add a ram air system and some good DA, that time will drop even more.

Thanks for the advise. I have a boxed ram air setup. I love the way it is setup and looks.

Here are two links for pictures of the ram air box under the front of the car. You can see the box in the front and under the lic plate. The box is black. Sorry the picture has a copy right logo that is kind of in the way of the box.

Definitely nothing to snub your nose at! It looks like the car launches pretty damn well. This gets me excited about getting my '98 back on the road. I just ordered a new fuel pump and up next will be replacing the stolen catback. Mine has long tubes, an ORY, 3.73s and a Yank 3500. I'm hoping with some drag radials to at least run 12.2s as well. I ran the times in my sig with nothing but exhaust and a lid.

Well I'm certainly impressed! Thats gotta be almost 2 seconds quicker than stock! Your 60' must be impressive, that kind of time reduction for the mods is VERY efficient.
Great choice in mods

you are doing a good job driving , prepping the car etc... to get those numbers with those mods , that being said it is pretty common for those paying attention to details to do similar and not at all uncommon to run high 11's with similar mods.

What you have is what we refer to as a stock internals car with bolt ons. I have 2 such cars both full weight that have run 11.95 and 12.1 both at 112 mph but in good fall racing air (negative density altitude)

You said headers. After market y pipe, catback I assume? Didn't mention the intake setup in your mods. Ported tb , under pulley? Looks like you have some nice suspension mods. Great launch!
