You don't need the extra stability they offer for the power you're at and they are heavier than the toyos, which I will stand by are the best daily duty tire that still hooks good at the track. They get way stickier than comparable nittos if u ask me. U could raise the shift points some, mine were still stock setting before I sold the car. 6200 would make a difference. Are you hitting the rev limiter at all?
Oh I see,i totally agree on the toyos man I had nitto over a dozen times on my Fox with only bolt ons and cam and a 150 they would blow off at any mph... Def agree on that, and unfortunately I was passing the traps right at redline which is about 6200 they might have adjusted it when they dyno tuned it? I'm happy with how it runs for sure. I wish I had 28s cause I would go right to a stall and trans cooler.. But I JUST bought these tires lmao

Numbers look good man, A4s always do great at the track. What RPM are you launching at?

Thanks man! I could only get it 1k out of 4 runs if I had more time I would've tried higher.

1k is not bad, I wouldn't trust a 2500 launch with the 10 bolt but A4s tend to put the power down smoother than an m6. You could definitely hit 11s with weight reduction and I would say a better converter (although I'd personally do a cam swap with a new converter)

I always launched stock stall a little off idle. Just enough to raise rpm a tad and yes, practice shallow staging.

I tried that once I wish I had more time.. I would've done it again. There was like 4 cars that hit the wall in 4 hours

hey guys can anyone take a guess at what my 1/4 mile will be with adding the yankss4000? my car 98 Camaro ss 55,000 miles long tube headers, ory, gmmg cat back, slp lid, fast 92 intake 92tb, 3.73 gears, sfc, lca, lca relocation mounts. drag radials.

my last run was without the stall 13.1 @107 at a horrible track and my trans was way to hot it wouldn't shift from 2nd to 3rd without me letting off the pedal any input appreciated

If you can hook that's a combo for high 11s there is a few on YouTube doing it less the fast intake. I have a stock stall, and a ls1 intake with garbage 1.98 60' I pulled this 12.5 so I know you could too. My car was Dyno tuned and only made 341hp/356 tq

Gmmg is a good exhaust! I do have a slp underdrive pulley, and a tsp X pipe true duals. I was also running out of gear on my setup with 26 inch tires and 4.10

I heard cut outs make decent power when you need it may be worth a shot?
