Not too impressed.

My first time in the 12's made me feel like there should be better times from the car.

'99 Z28, 3.23's, Yank 3k stall, TSP 228R, nitto 315's (hooked), 1 3/4" LT's, catless y pipe. 395rw

Ran a 12.78 @ 108.4 in good air (da roughly 1k')
1.89 60'

I've since added the LS6 intake, but still feel like I should have been low 12's in the good air. Or maybe the stall is too tight. I went conservative because I had a Circle D 3600 that was too loose for me.

Anyone with a similiar setup?

What rpm are you shifting at?

That pull logged a 6900 1-2 shift, and 6400 2-3.
I adjusted the mph to not shift at that rpm again. Even though it sounded like a dang racecar. lol
My 1-2 is about 6500 now.

Something is going wrong with your launch. A friend used to cut mid 1.8 60's with Riken Raptor street tires and a stock converter. With your converter, DR's, and your cam, you should be coming out in the 1.6's easily in good air.

I can agree there. It is a very tight stall. I tried flashing it and regular old foot braking to the top of the stall with the same result. I don't spin either, so I can't blame my tires.

If quarter mile times is why you're chasing you definitely need more stall. A yank ss3600 at least.
You are probably not making any power once so ever until 4000 rpms if that so that converter is doing you no favors. 108 mph is definitely a very low trap speed also.

For comparison I had a yank ss 3600 and long tubes with drag radials only and ran 12.2 @ 111 mph 60' 1.71
D.a 200 ft.

Do you have a dyno graph you can post ?

I wouldn't say I'm chasing quarter mile times, just building it to be as nice of a cruiser as I can. Either way, I feel I should have put a little bigger of a stall now. But even as is, I feel like it should have ran a little better. I'm getting a retune when I get home to see if maybe I could have had a better tune. I don't have a dyno sheet from my last tune, I'm currently deployed and even though I have pictures of everything on that car, I overlooked that one. The dyno was way off anyway, he just used it for tuning. It's like 15% off, so with that reduction, we came up with 395rw. Kinda sketchy, I know. Which also reinforces why I want another tune at another dyno.
