Its a 97 ws6 lt1 heads and cam car made 410rwhp and it has a 9Ē rear end not bad for a lt1. I no theres more room to improve i had almost a full tank of gas and im going with skinnies next time. Gotcha. 410 rwhp on a old LT1 isn't too shabby. What heads and cam do you have?

That seems like a pretty low mph for that hp. For comparison my third gen trapped 121 with 407rwhp. But congrats on the time, youíve got a lot more in it for sure with 410rwhp you can get into the 11ís. Also my lead sled gto at probably 3900lbs with me in it ran 12.10 @ 113. In crappy conditions like you ran. 1.73 60ft. The da was about 1200ft and the temp was over 90 and the humidity was at 43%

you can. But Iíd be willing to bet your midrange part of your tune isnít dialed in. You made good hp on the Dyno but you need the motor to make good power WHILE ITS PULLING. Not maybe people realize that and lay down big overall numbers but during the pull at the track the load is different and itís not revving or accelerating through the rpm like it should. Thatís how a lower hp car can beat a higher hp car if everything is close. Itís alot more to it than that but Iím short you may not have enough timing or fueling could be wrong down low. You have a lighter car than me. And making just as much or more power than me but trapping the same. So that tells me the midrange power is off.

Like mentioned above the trap speed is not matching 407 rwhp in a 3500 lb car. You're not way up in the mountains or something are you?

Gotcha. I'd expect more like 116-118 mph at that power and weight

That explains it right there. Peak power at 6500 but you're shifting around 6000. If the car is setup to rev that you should most definitely do it. That's easily costing you a few mph

Yep it's usually best to shift around 200-300 rpm after it peaks. Look at your dyno sheet and see where that is exactly. I'm thinking a little less than 6500 (more like 6200) but I can't say for sure since it's not my ride. Let us know how it works out. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised
