Dude c'mon, it's not like she's claiming to have run 11.5s in that trim or something rediculous like that, it is VERY possible for a car set up like hers (and it IS set up exactly as is stated) to run those numbers in that air at that track. Hell we have a friend with a very similar set up to hers (but with lots more weight reduction) that ran a 12.0@117+.
Her car is fast and all but this isn't THAT uncommon ya know.

OK since you didnt want to tell us whats done to yours, I did some research. I saw you went 12.94 stock, and that since you posted this, you have installed pace setter headers and Y-pipe.
I guess you are pissed that my girly bolt on car runs as good as yours did after your cam, and the once I put my 12 bolt in, it may be faster than yours!

no it not an ls1 its a 03 cobra. but i had a 1999 Pontiac Firehawk TA it went a best of 12.49 at 113mph with whisper lid,k&n, ported MAF,ls6 intake,asp pulley, mac header with cats,vortech muffler and 410 rear axle ratio with drag raidals. so i know the 01-02 ls1 run good.but 115mph trap speed without a rear axle ratio change is hard too beleave.

Okay this is getting annoying.

If you guys want to bitch cause you cant drive, and your car is slower at the same mod level, or you race at a track in the mountains then you might as well stop now.

I was one of the people who drove that car, not that night, but I know what it can do in the hands of a capable driver like Tommy ]TalonWs6] or dare I saw my own. This is something along the lines of when I ran 11.3 @ 122 with 395HP and people bitched and moaned. It’s not my fault we have great tracks and great drivers.

The car is as she said;

It has 1 3/4 QTP Merge Collector headers, off-road y-pipe
Some custom exhaust with stock Z28 tips
Lid/Filter
QTP Electric Cutout
BMR Lower control arms
BMR Pan hard rod
Hurst shifter [POS IMHO]
ASP Underdrive crank pulley

Oh and I wired the line lock on it

It was full interior that night with a bunch of girly **** in the back that I almost killed her for having in there.

I ran my friends car to an 11.74 with similar bolt-ons, worse headers and a 9" rear w/4:10's. Given the difference in the 60's her car is right on the money.

Stop crying and learn how to drive better. The results are not that amaysing if you know what you are doing.

well i guess the 01-02's have 50 more hp then the 99's .because my firehawk went 110 mph with bolton's and 4.10. and 113mph with mac headers and ls6 intake.

I cant believe how long this thread has gone, give the girl props on her car and get to the track and try your best, dont knock someone for being better than you. Theres always someone faster, why not go knock Harlan for running 8's, just cause you cant do it. People dont realize how raceweight, shifting, track, weather, everything plays a big factor in getting a great time. Congrats on your time and go get some 11's, dont even bother with these clowns they are all just jealous that a girl owns a faster car then they do.....

I have a 99 with Spec Stage 3 clutch, Pacesetter headers with custom 3" true duals SLP lid and Spohn lower control arms...I guess your gonna call BS when I post 2 videos of me and Zulater (who ran 3 tenths and almost 3 mph faster than me) race from a roll...

Well, yeah, that's right in line then isn't it? Her car came standard with an LS6 intake and she has what are widely considered as THE BEST long tube headers and Y pipe (stainless QTPs with the High Velocity Merge Collectors and 3" mandrel bent Y with Flowmaster merge) combo that you can put on an LS1 F-body, that might just be enough to answer for the mere 1mph higher trap speed of her car with stock 3.42s maybe.
