12's and having fun

After runing 13.2 for a year and half. I installed tci 3500 stall, dino tech lt's, ory, ls1edit and LM cat back. To my suprize it shaved allmost a full second. The other stuff in my sig I installed when I bought the car. To all of auto people out there, the stall converter is the best bang for the buck and you probaly should do headers while your at it. If you have SLP sub frams, dino tech headers will not work. Unless you cut part of the subframe out. Dino tech headers also hit the bottom of the floor board. My friends SLP headers do not hit anything. The SLP's are much much much harder to install. My best was R/T .064 60' 1.745 330 5.076 1/8 7.881@85.22 1000 10.304 1/4 12.364@109.5. Thanks to everybody here at LS1tech.

Those are pretty good times. Congrats.

The torque converter really is KEY to an auto.

Converter's are amazing. The car dino out at 328rwhp, and it will beat 400hp cars.

awesome times.. i hope to be running right around the same as you in a month or so-

basically = 3800 stall/shiftkit/cooler, lt's with ory and cutout, lid, hptuners, nitto's, sfc's, phb, custom ram air setup, !front swaybar, ! spare and jack, ! back seats, 2.73 gears...was going 12.70's @ 105mph with my other car that did not have any exhaust/ram air.

keep picking away at it, i could see your car going 12.20's or maybe even 12.10's on a perfect night/track prep.

doubt it- till i take the f1 kit out of the basement and put it on :) . i'd be happy if i were anywhere near (within one tenth and one mph) of your time with the mods i have listed (without the juice obviously)

congrats- your car runs what it is SUSPOSED to run with your mods- i love seeing sigs that say 12.5 @ 120mph :jest: . stall and nittos are key-

later

So I guess you like the converter? I am thinking of purchasing that same converter for my car soon. How is it's drivability during normal driving? I hope I can dip that low into the 12's with headers, stall, DRs, and tune.
