the "crashed pedal" is a known problem with our cars, and is not exactly a slave or master problem! the problem is on the stock clutch, when sparaying nitrous or heavily modded engines...the pressure plate and clutch disc are fighting to hold the flywheel...which causes extreme heat (slipping) the excess heat causes the fluid in the slave to boil, causing the crashed pedal! it happend to mine after hitting it with a 100 shot about 3 times, I have since installed a spec stage III and hever had the crashed pedal again! and I have been on a 125 shot and at least 20 bottles on this clucth....still fine!

so what would cause this problem on a BONE STOCK 99 z28? a buddy of mine had the clutch pedal sticking issue for awhile, with a STOCK car and no nitrous. he then sprayed an unjetted 150 shot on it...and the problem went away. car had 75k on it when the pedal starting sticking to the floor. had 85k on it when he started spraying it.
he would pull on crotch rockets that trapped 130, with a STOCK ls1 and god only knows how much n2o was making it to the cylinders. we figured ~300 shot. car was a beast, he tore the tranny up before anything else got bad enough to replace.
