Launch with MT's, 4.10's, and Stock 10 Bolt?
I am taking my car to the track as soon as it opens again but in the mean time I want to practice launching and hopefully get it under my belt. My question is how high should I launch with ET streets and 4.10s, keeping the life of my 10 bolt in mind with an M6. I am not too concerned with 60's but I want a good quarter mile time. Anybody got an idea of what I should launch at and what kinda times I might expect?

I have been told with 4.10s, 10bolt and a m6 you shouldn't run anything but street tires or you run a good chance of breaking the rear. I'm going to take mine to the track when it opens up and see how it does with street tires. I have no idea how to launch with slicks though.

Yea Ive heard all that too but I have seen people in the elevens with a 10 bolt and M6 so I am willing to push my luck. On the street I slip the clutch from about 1800-2200 so I dont think its a huge shock like 5000 would be. Just dont wanna bog at the track and throw up shitty times...
