a full weight automatic car trapping 114 is 380+ rwhp. i don't see how you did that.

Seriously man your trap speed is pretty sick. I don't think you need 380 rwhp to pull it off, but definitely 360ish though. You sure your motor wasn't replaced with an LS6 by the previous owner?

For starters I changed my S/N its now LS1iFiEd.........Hey guys sorry I havent posted I thought the thread died,LoL!!!Yeah I left the Car in "D",I didnt manually shift. No the car is an Original LS1,It has 241 castings. The car dyno'd 337 RWHP and 349 RWTQ.Yes the car is Full weight. Is it a "Freak" I dont know.Ive seen cars do it b4,My buddy here in Florida also, has almost the same setup except he has a converter its an 00 Z28 he ran 12.2's @ 113 in the heat,Another friend of mine has an 00 SS M6 car, full bolt ons and runs 12.6's @ 114.5,So I dont think my cars a "Freak" I just think it runs strong.I understand that the car "should" have 370RWHP,I know this bcuz I had an LT1 that did 376 to the wheels and trapped the same thing ,I dunno myself ,Im rather stumped ,but hey im not gonna complain,LoL!Do remeber I live in Florida and when Its cold here the Track Conditions are perfect! Thanx for all the replies and compliments,As far as the people that dont believe it,Im sorry U would just have to see the car run for urself ,there is no need for me to lie about it.Also this wasnt a one time thing the car runs consistant 12.3's and 12.4's @112-113 all the time,Thanx.

maybe the difference in da between here and there?

113-114 is a very strong trap speed for a stock cam automatic. i saw an ms3 car with a 4k stall trap 113 here, and i also saw his dyno of 385 rwhp...maybe he short shifted at the track?

That's my car, 853 casting heads, full weight, LCA's and PH rod... no other suspension mods mods. I ran three 12.2x passes in a row on a Friday night this past summer. I dynoed at NLP the following day... a whopping 329 HP & 341 TQ. You don't need 380+ at the tires to trap that kind of MPH or run that kind of ET. And no, you don't need to gut the car either.

Oh, and Mark did forget one important mod... an ASP pulley. There's his speed secret right there. Don't like how your car stacks up? Quit bitching and science out your combination better.

my car weighs 3500 empty, that's probably the difference.

there's really no need to be a *****, i was asking questions about something i didn't understand. "full-weight" bolt-on automatic cars with stock stalls don't trap 114 around here.

Hey Stew01z isnt my car,LoL!!I weighed my car with me in it tho,It weighed in at 3595 almost on E and thats Full weight nothing taken out but my CD's and ****,with the 17's on the car.So really my car isnt that much lighter than yours.Maybe its just the dif. in DA,cuz we have M6 cars here trap 110 stock!!!

That link was merely posted as an example, Mark's car isn't a 1SC like that car. It has a leather interior, and t-tops. It hasn't been on a scale. but I'm sure it weighs more than 3280. My own personal car weighs around 3600 w/o driver.

As far as "being a *****", that was the PG13 version. I get a bit ticked off when people are so quick to call BS. My two prior posts weren't direct at you, they were directed to anyone in this thread that was a naysayer.

In all reality, this summer when the DA isn't so great, his car will most likely slow to 12.60's and 110-ish traps. That's still strong for a car w/ stock internals and no stall converter. My car is about .3 & 3 MPH off the pace in the heat - that's what I base it on.
