Low 12's? Last year went to the track, the rear axle crapped out within 5ft of the first launch, I coasted to a 33 second time. :( Many moons later I went back with a "better" rear diff and better tires. Ran a 10.90 (1000ft track) time the first run out. Got faster and faster. Ended up with a 10.09 time @ 103mph in the 1000 ft. I'm pretty sure this translates to low 12 second pass in the 1/4. :drive: Its a estimated 2900lb car with a '99 motor/tranny, long tubes, ls6 intake, 3.90 gears and 255/60/16 drag radials. edit: Can anyone confirm this translation to 1/4 mile times. Also, I'm really hoping to break 11's (1/4 mile) on stock motor. I wasn't horribly abusing the car yet to achieve the 10.09. i was leaving the line @ 3200rpm'ish. 60ft times were high 1.70's. I'm not spinnning at all. Stock clutch slips just a little, just perfect to not bog the motor. Would 1.60's get me in the 9's 1000ft or 11's 1/4 mile? I might be going back to the track this weekend to find out and am curious what everyone thinks. I'm always up for suggestions/thoughts/comments. :judge: |
I would say around 12.3 at 111 to 113. |
Just go to a 1/4 track |
