12's w/ n2o? Went to the track tonight, best all motor pass was 13.6 @ 103 with a 1.99 60. With .046 n2o and .028 fuel jets in a Cold fusion nitrous kit the car went 12.374 @ 113.4 and then 12.337@ 112.5 with a 1.87 60. any idea why the HUGE improvement with what i thought was going to be a very rich 80 shot? |
For the mod's you have your 13.6 run all motor seem's weak. I could be off base but it seem's like you should be right in the high twelve's w/o using the juice. |

wtf my 95 only has 65k on it |
WTF is what I said when I test drove it with 184K showing on the ODO. The guy I got it from drove it cross country many times so it is mostly highway miles and was always serviced regularly. Is it possible that the rings might be going bad and the spray tightened them up? |
your mph suggest you ojnly are putting about 275hp to the wheels, your nitrous times suggest about 320 to the wheels...its missing alota power |
Man that n/a ET really does look slow considering those mods. The converter alone should have put you in the 12's. the 207k miles might have something to do with it |
The car put down 288 hp and 302 tq w/ a cut out, ported MAF and K&n in Jan 05 with 194k.. the car doesnt smoke at all and burns little to no oil... On street tires about 4 months ago with a 2800 stall I trapped a 114 on smaller jets.. the A/F seemed to be a little on the lean side on the motor passes, but when the car was dyno'd in Jan it was right at 12.4.... |
there is also no tune on the car so it still has all torque management, also the Fuel pressure dropped almost 25 psi over a 10 minute cool down time, is that excesive? |
