Default i think i'm tapped out on this setup..

UNPREPPED TRACK
1.715
7.818 @ 87.09
12.330 @ 108.60

engine - whisper lid, coated pacesetters w/3" x + 4x9 magnaflow dumped @ axle, ls6 intake, 160* t-stat.

stock tranny - fuddle 4k/2.4 stall. transgo "full race/high stall" shift kit, b&m deep pan, b&m 24k cooler, poly mount.

stock rearend - strange 373 gears, t/a cover. stock rims all around, bfg DRs out back.

suspension - spohn LCAs, KB DD sub-frames, !front swaybar.

computer work - shift points tuned, !tqm, !air, !egr, !rear 02s.

weight reduction - removed front/rear bumper support, spare tire + jack, front swaybar. car weighs 3,320 empty. i weigh 200, making a 3,520 raceweight.

the car danced off the line from tirespin, so i know i could knock probably another tenth and a half off if i hit a prepped track, assuming i would 60' somewhere between 1.61-1.65.

any ideas on what a good engine tune will get me? i'd like to see 11.99999999999 with a tune and prepped track before i drop in my ginormous custom ground cam.

You can hit 11.7ish if you get your suspension setup. That stall should get 1.5 60s. If you just ran this, then it's the weather. It's been hot in the Midwest recently. Hot and humid. You'll hit 11s for sure in the fall.

I have basicly the same setup as you....First time out at the track with the new stall I cut a 1.71....and that was barley stalling it off the line 1000rpms....

1.6s should put in the 11s...

I went 12.3 @ 112 last year with the stock stall....with a 1.83 60`

good news. i was hoping to get some confirmation on my intentions from others. i noticed that the weather has been pretty shitty lately, as my traps are down 2 mph compared to the beginning of the year. thanks fellers.
