Still in the 12's

Well after the last 2 times I was at the track I and consistantly ran 12.2@115mph and 3 12.0@116mph. I Added a Spohn Adjustable TA and borrowed my buddies skinnies. I had high hopes of at 11.9X but it was a crappy night at the track. It was packed for starters and kinda humid, and people were breaking stuf left and right. We got there and spent the frist 2 hours just sitting in the staging lanes. I only got to make 2 passes but they were a 12.084@116.87mph with a 1.807 60' and a 12.031@116.58mph with a 1.757 60' :bang: :bang: :bang: but not bad for my wimpy z06 cam and a 3750lbs race weight.

I think if I would have been able to make another pass or 2 I could have hit the 11's oh well maybe next time.

I got someone that is gonna put his wideband on my car and do a little tuning for me so that might help a little but if that doesn't do it I will be picking up a set of PP stage 2 ls6 heads next week and will be installing later this summer probably with a different cam. It should go well in the 11's then. :drive:

Practice the launch, your 60' time is preventing you from getting into 11s.

Your trap speed indicates that you should be in mid-high 11s.

I am not to crazy about launching it to hard. I still have my crappy 10 bolt. Also with my stock bilstien suspension when I launch the car squats really bad, tires hit the fenders and then it bounces back up. Some suspension work is inline for over the winter.
