I have a 99 ls1 with long tubes, a lid, 3500 stall and i need to get 6 tenths out of it more.. i have a stock 2:73 rear end. how do i get closer. im gonna change the gear but dont know what to change it to... if i go 3:73 will it be too much for spray.

i'd say you can go low 12.40s with that setup. you need about 3 more mph to go 12.0s as you sit, but that's with a hard hook.

pull some weight and see where that takes you. 200 lbs can easily be removed and will get you pretty close...

Yeah, dump the weight and see how it runs. The mph is a little too low for 12 flat. You'd have to be running 1.40 60's to get there, probably not gonna happen with the mods. Yank any spare weight you can, mod some more and you'll be golden! =)
