Leaped into the 12's (application)
Made my first dip into the 12's at Maple Grove.
R/T ... .494
60' ... 2.129
330 ... 5.542
1/8 ... 8.311
MPH ... 89.80
1000 ... 10.686
1/4 ... 12.685 *
MPH ... 113.35
race weight 3580
Did this a few weeks ago. Previous best was 13.3 n/a. Added $1,200.00 of nitrous and got a 12.6. At this point I had all of my current listed mods withOUT the Longtubes/ORY and withOUT the new clutch and race trans (this was a day before I blew the trans.).
Im hoping that with the addition of a BBK tb along with the lt's/ory race trans and clutch as well as a full dyno tune I will dip into the 11's. However that all depends on if I can stop my pretty decent tire spin, im using eagle f-1 gsd3 at 20psi.. and they spin pretty bad. I want some slicks but if I broke my rear less than a month after my trans i will kill myself. lets keep the unexpected spenditures under 4,000 for this month.

Presto_z, after reading for a while the general consensus is that the BBK 80mm is a waste of cash. So i didnt buy it. The tune is still getting done.
I decided to just stick the rest of the casg for the TB back into the "camaro's" bank account. That brings her total to around 1300.00 and as a result I decided that the next item going in is a moser 12 bolt with 4.11's and slicks. I priced it out and its around 3,500.00 for the rear assembled, a HD driveshaft, and swaybar. ---then add another 500 for torque arm and around 800 for slicks.. So I need $4,800.00 and I'll have a decent winter project.
Brian2006, its a HSW 125 wet shot.

Brian 2006, WTF,
Your current best is 12.1
Ive got everything you do and then some (with exception of tune) why am I 12.6 and your 12.1. Is it primarily because of my 60 foot times and traction issues??
im a retard.... im complaining and I havent re-tracked since all the new parts were installed with tune.... damn I am stupid...

What was the weather like when you ran those times? On a very shitty night with another 2.0 60ft I ran a 13.0 n/a. Houston humidity sucks. What about the elevation? I know in a perfect world everyone would be running the same times if they had the same mods but unfortunately, track prep, conditions, and location play a factor in times.

OH and there was VERY LITTLE track prep. It was highschool night and they didnt bother to do much. for over 400 cars they prepped once every 2 hours.

That was done at Maple Grove also. I'm about a half hour away from there if that. My current tire I'm running is a BFgoodrich drag radial T/A. size is 295/35/18 and 12psi.
