Ran 12's for the first time tonight

My new best run:

R/T ... .514
60' ... 1.970
330 ... 5.495
1/8 ... 8.345
MPH ... 86.65
1000 ... 10.756
1/4 ... 12.810
MPH ... 110.32

I had previously been consistent hitting 13.1, 13.2 at around 109-110 mph.

2 things tonight i believe helped me into the 12's:

1. My R/T's tonight were exactly where they should be.
-.500's compared to usual .700's are a great improvement, and it showed.

2. I put my 'bird on a diet yesterday using the weight reduction checklist

-I was able to remove about 150 pounds of sh1t I don't need in my car. It only makes sense - if you don't need it, get rid of it!!!

Thats my 12 second story- later!

Tires are M/T et streets at 16 psi, launched at 2500 feathering the clutch till completely engaged, then mashing it.

you should be able to launch harder then that,i use the same tires at the same PSI and i launch at 3200 and just mash the pettel off the line

those tires are good for a strong 60', but he also needs susp. work and the balls to drop the clutch on a prepped track. congrats on getting into the 12s...now get a 9", chassis mount tq arm, and some slicks for 11s.

also...your reaction time has no bearing on your ET.

Yes there will be no clutch dropping with my stock 10-bolt...heard too many stories about that

I have a pic of my timeslip and would love to post it but i'm having a hell of a time trying to figure out how to do it. I'm trying to get my title changed to 12 second club.
