possible 12's?
 

ok so last saturday i went to the track and in my bone stock 1998 Camaro Z28 A4 with 2.73s, i ran a best time of 13.633 at 101.88 with a 2.03 60'. i was pretty happy cuz that was the 2nd time i ever went and the 1st time at a crappy track i got a 14.00 at 101, but i was just wondering if i do full hooker exhaust (which is going on over the winter) do u guys think i could hit 12's with that setup,

dr's, full exhaust, ls6 intake, lid and good driving ... maybe. just my .02 cents though

o yea, long tubes definately... no shorties, i would also go with a better brand than hooker. say QTP or KOOKS

i dont have the money for that, i can get pace setters for the same price as hookers, are they a better brand than hooker?

pacesetters are a great header, hookers are also, pacesetters are more popular b/c you can get them cheaper, but either are a good choice..you have no NEED for Kooks

If I were you I would do the full exhaust, tires, but don't get an ls6 intake yet, unless of course 'money ain't a thang' :lol:. Put some gears on their first. It doesn't have to be extreme or anything. A nice set of 3.42's will do wonders compared to those 2.73's.
