Argh! So close to 11's.

Finally got some new times for my car. Not quite into the 11's yet.

60' - 1.74
1/8 - 7.67
MPH - 91.16
1/4 - 12.01
MPH - 113.22

That was my best run of the day against an '04 Z06 CE (he ran a 12.07 @ 116.21 with a 1.97 60')

The other two runs I put in before this were worse, 12.2 @ 111, 1.87 60' and 12.1 @ 112, 1.78 60'

Oh well, maybe I'll hit 11's after a little weight reduction.

EDIT: I guess just to add to this, my mods are:

TSP Lid (paper filter), Shaner S3, FAST 78, Pacesetter LT's, 3" duals dumped, FM13 and a TCI3500. There's a few other mods, but none really relevant to this.

Still have the stock 3.23 rear and I'm running 275/40/17 Nitto 555R's. Lowered them to around 18psi or so, hard to tell since I didn't have a real guage with me.. had to use the gas stations built in gauge. Heated the DR's up for a good 5 seconds or so and launched at around 1500rpm, hooked pretty well, didn't really feel any spin and I rolled into it pretty fast (almost WOT out of the hole.)

It was mid 40's outside and the track elevation is 500', so I don't think I'll be getting any better times soon. I'll try though. :judge:

I found it kind of odd that my 60' times got shorter, my ET went lower and my MPH went higher each run.

If you lower your 60' down just a lil more I think you'll be there. Maybe try switching from the Nittos to some Mickey Thompson DR's. I hear they really hook up great!!!

Also what about weight reduction? DId you remove the spare tire and the back seats? Just a couple of other lil tricks to help you pick up that tenth you need.

I was thinking about the MT ET Streets, but I'm pretty sure they'd break my 10 bolt. Trying to hold off on that for a little while longer, although I could probably get away with a few passes on the ET Streets.

I've taken out the spare tire/jack and also the back seats. I'll eventually swap the seats out to something a little lighter and replace the carpet with lightweight material. There's some other things I can do that I'll have to look into as well.

That's a lot like my best run.
12.012
114.09
but I had a terrible 60'. 1.879.
My best 60' so far is 1.654 so I should be down in the high 11's if I ever get to go back to the track. :)

Still working on that 60'. Was my first time down the 1/4 with the cam/stall/DR's. I'll be going back this weekend the see if I can improve. :judge:

Does my MPH seem right for my mods? My previous best was a 12.82@109 with a 2.00 60', that was before cam/stall/DR's. I realize the more traction you catch, the lower your MPH will be. Just seems to me I should be pulling a slightly higher MPH.

The car still has more in it, so I'll have to keep trying and see where I plateau at.
