12's possible? I have a lid and a cutout, short shifter. Best to date is a 13.2 on a 2.2 60' time. Trap was 108. It is a 6-spd convertible, will be running at sea level(atco). Do you think 12's are possible on street tires? |
Some suspension parts and more practice, i do see some 12's on street tires even if you get your 60ft down to a 2.0 that be a 12.90 or so. Imagine if you could pull some 1.70 60' s thats mid 12's |
I would love to thrown some drag radials on and really launch it, but I'm afraid to frag the rear. I had an LT1 before this that love launching on them, but that was an auto, and I know how much hard the M6 is on the rear. I am planning headers and an LS6 intake next, but I would LOVE to hit 12s before I throw them on. I'm going out Sunday for some runs, hopefully I can rip a nice run off and join the club. |
Save the rear, be happy with a good trap--JMO! |

The weather was amazing for racing today, I just cant believe I dropped almost 2 tenths off my best run of the day and gained more than 1 MPH in my trap. |
That's Atco for ya and you have to go through the water too!!! Who was on the brakes in the other lane, 12.0 @ 68mph  Congrats on getting your first 12 second run. :thumb: |

Oh wow, Atco usually is pretty good with their electronics. When i used to go there, I would use the Bacardi lane. I think I only ran in the Suzuki lane twice from all my passes. |

I always want to run in the lane that's closest to the audience, don't know why. At raceway park, I'll run on the left, Island, on the left, Atco, on the right. |
