Default Do I have 12's ?

What's up guys. I have a new setup and have yet to take it to the track. My new setup is not very potent, but it's what I had around when I spun a bearing in the other motor. I think I can swing a high 12, but want some feedback. I've installed a stock '01 LS6 crate motor. Car is an A4 with stock converter. Other mods include:

Kooks LT's and catted Y
Magnaflow CB
Adjustable TQ arm, LCA's and PHB
SFC's
Shocks and springs
Swaybars
12 bolt with 3.42 gearset and 33 spline HD posi
3 1/2" aluminum D/S
And a good tune

The car put down 360/357 on a Dynojet (SAE Corrected of course)
It's pretty much at full weight, minus spare tire and jack. I'm running BFG KDW at the moment. I'm curious as to what it will do on street tires. Surely I can get in the 12's???

the ONLY reason i could see you not getting into the 12s would be your tires...and even with street tires you should be able to. i see you have the 12bolt, you need to throw some slicks on that bitch! lol

Hell yeah, I know I need to get some good tires. Right now, on the street, it just roasts them through 2nd and finally hooks in 3rd. I know the track is a bit stickier though.

That is not necessarily true, the track is very smooth, and hard. Street tires are also hard: hard surface against hard smooth surface = spin like crazy. Most street tires also have deep tread grooves for rain that limit contact to the pavement. That's not to say you can't launch it with the street tires but you will have to be good with the clutch.
