still in the 12's Still in the 12's last week I went 12.1 at 111MPH. This week I went 12.09 at 116.75 MPH. Five MPH gain from LT and 18" extensions but not the 11.?? I wanted. Track was a little slick then I picked up a miss and lost some power. I should have replaced the factory sparkplug wires(Ihope that is where it is from). I'm beginning to think that is all the stock cam will allow. |
What is your 60ft time? |
The only change to the car between these two days was headers and 18" extensions versus manifolds and catback. 60' 1.659 1.947 330' 4.972 5.211 1/8 7.735 7.893 MPH 89.77 92.82 1000' 10.097 10.172 1/4 12.107 12.099 MPH 111.56 116.75 So is the mph because of more power or bad 60' |
Man your 60' really made a change. Track must have ben shi**y. Get the 60' back down to a 1.6 and 11.60-70's are in your future for sure. |
That was one of my better 60' times(that day). The track was bad. I wasn't the only one spinning that day. I'm throwing a cam in it now and taking the slicks with just in case the drag radials dont bite. They had a midnight race the day before and didn't prep the track that morning. |
I got a cam in it now. So I will be shooting for a 11 sec pass. |
Just added 28x10.50 slicks. |
I'm beginning to think that is all the stock cam will allow. what year is your car? theres a guy on here runnin 10.80 with stock internals but i wanna say the car weighs about 2800lbs. is the car tuned? |
94 LT1 with 100,000 miles on the clock. Full weight only thing missing is the spare tire and it was replaced with a 24lb bottle. |
