Finally in the 12's Went to the track yesterday and finally got into the 12's. Here's timeslip info: 60'-1.95 330'-5.37 1/8-8.17 @ 88.12 mph 1000'-10.58 1/4-12.59 @ 112.20 mph After years of mid 13's with many bolt on's I built a 355 with ported stock heads and intake, forged pistons, and Eagle I-beam rods. A Comp 280 XFI cam, electric water pump, long tube headers, tubular K-member, M6, w/ 4.11 gears and Moser axles. Shifting at 6000 rpm, I was using MT 26 X 11.50 ET Streets, 2 step launch at 4600 then 4400 spun (2.7 60'). I tried 3400 and had a small bog but wasn't able to try 3600. On my third pass my 10 bolt quit :bang: Oh well time for a 12 bolt over the winter, I'm just happy to finnally go a little faster. I'll try for 11's next year  |
