Default 12.79 @ 109.95

I'm waaaay late posting this, happened on 9/11/07. Temps in the low 60s.
60 ft - 1.98
1/8 - 8.36 @ 87.67
1/4 - 12.79 @ 109.95
Missed 110 mph by just that much!
Only mods are Pacesetter longtubes and catless Y-pipe, cutout, Texas Speed lid, and Nitto drag radials. Nittos don't help that much (maybe .15) with the stock gears and converter, probably could've hit 12.9 without them.
No tuning yet (could probably use it after the headers) or weight reduction (aside from the jack and spare tire). I hope to eventually get it into the low 12s/maybe 11.9 with the 2.73 gears intact.

Our times are almost identical.

With Pacesetter LTs, Y-pipe, lid on the stock street tires and 2.73s I got 12.79 @ 109.10 and a 60ft of 1.95.

The drag radials will slow you down though... I had some and hooked too hard for the 2.73s to break loose and lost a tenth.

The Nittos definitely help. The best 60 ft I've ever run without them was 2.08 on the stock Goodyear RSAs. The best I've done with the current rock-hard Kelly Chargers is 2.13. This is with shallow staging.
How do you pull a 1.95 with the stock gears, converter and tires? I've seen a coupla other guys do that but I guess I just suck at this racing thing.

Well, I was just speaking from my experience... drag radials on my last Z28 hooked too hard for the 2.73s and bogged it down.

I get consistent 1.94-1.98 60 ft times on the almost bald goodyear tires(My car has 47k miles on it and these are original)..hah

Here is how I race....

#1. Put car in 1st gear and do a small burnout
#2. Stage car put it back into D
#3. Floor it from idle
#4. 1.9x 60ft times

Inspiring. I'm shooting for 12s with my wagon and our setups will be similar. My car is more brick like but I have WAY more gear.
