Maybe 12's next weekend

I have a 2000 Trans Am, Black on black m6 t-tops. I ran a 13.1 about 3 months ago with 131,xxx miles and have not been to the track since cuz I have been workig on my other car. So I ran the 13.1 with Hypertech Power Programmer, skip shift, 160 degree thermostat, short stick, almost bald tires, and an air lid oh and borrowed a granatelli maf. Since then I have done the free modds, got rid of the stock rims for c6 Z06 replica rims (17x9.5 up front with 265/40/17 and 18x10.5 with 285/35/18 Toyo Proxy T1R's, and coming in this weekend is the FTP 85mm air lid, new filter, granatelli maf with cold air tuning, single adjustable lower control arms, single adj panard bar, and lower control arm relocation brackets. I seafoamed the car today and am going to do the drill modd this weekend too. I am looking for a 12.7 run at best. It is a lot to expect without any exhaust modds. I am ordering full exhaust after the next trip to the track.

I don't know that it was worth it with your mods to upgrade to the 85mm lid over the old lid, the tires should be nice just make sure you don't do a big burn out or the rubber will get soft. Do a quick burnout to clean off any rocks but not to heat them up too much. Good luck!

I don't buy the cheap stuff to change it later. I buy the best and then just keep adding. I will have the nick williams combo with heads in a month or 2, when I pull the motor to do the rebuild with forged internals, and the moser 9inch rear. I just wanted to go to full bolt ons first and see if anything will break. I am supprised the rear is still holding. My last camaro which was a 94 z28 went pretty quick on bolt on. Then it got the 12 bolt and a supercharger. Still wish I had that one sometimes.
