Stalled and tires, ET guesses?

In a little less than a month I'm heading to the track with my car club, and I'm just wondering what I should be expecting when i get there. Races are already being set up so it would be helpful to know.... lol.

Last time I went in the fall I ran a 12.85@107.9. That was the same mods as now except for two things. I had the stock converter, and the stock eagle F1's on the back. This time around I'll have the Yank SS3600 in there and soon I'll have some Nitto 555R's on the back. With those two things what would you guess I can run?

12.3?

TORK? 03-26-2008 11:37 AM

What was your 60'?

Speedmonster185 03-26-2008 06:44 PM

My best was 1.97. I don't remember if that was my best ET or not for sure, but they were all within few hundredths of that.

I'd say 12.1 @107 w/ 1.65 60ft or somewhere close to that.

Speedmonster185 03-26-2008 10:00 PM

You think I'll be able to pull a 60 like that? I sure hope so :)

th3brandon 03-26-2008 10:55 PM

i just got my stall and hopefully tires on the way but iam just a little lt1 running a 13.4 and now with the yank 3600ss and m/t et streets i hope for a 12 second pass i think i can pull it off ....the little old lt1 that could lol

If I went from 8.68 at 86 w/ 2.0 60' and added stall gear and tires and went 7.8 at 89 with 1.5 60' you should be able to do 1.6's no problems

Hardtop 03-30-2008 07:01 AM

I'd say from 12 teens to 12.30's.

formulajunky 03-30-2008 08:19 AM

12.3 ish

00BlueTA 03-30-2008 09:25 AM

Make sure you heat the nittos up, I have yet to personally see the nittos hook for anything better than a high 1.8x 60'. If you get the nittos to grab I'd say your looking at 12.1-12.3. Good luck!

DadsZ28 03-30-2008 11:28 AM

I picked up 2 tenths on my sixty foot times and 3.5 to 4 tenths in the quarter. Nittos are hit or miss, my mt drs hook all the time. You will feel a big difference launching, really puts ya back in the seat.:D Good luck and keep us posted.

Speedmonster185 03-30-2008 11:24 PM

Thanks for all the input guys. I'm not sure if the tires have even shipped yet. It said 24-48 hours on wednesday for them to be shipped, but the tracking number they gave me still says its invalid.

Anyway, I'll come back and let you all know how it goes. I really hope to hit the times you're saying I could possibly, but I'm just going to hope for 12.5 and see what happens :)

I hope you'll hit your goal and then some. My 12.6 run was on 18" wheels and street tires. I pulled 1.8 sixty foot.

PewterScreaminMach 03-31-2008 08:35 AM

Let us know how it goes! I say you'll hit a 12.4-12.5 at 108 getting a little chirp. Hopefully you'll hit a 12.3. That would be sick.

TA1364 03-31-2008 09:37 AM

Damn those tires need to hurry up, very curious to see what you run. Unfourtnatly I wont be getting tires for a month:bang:

allbaugh_04 03-31-2008 11:29 AM

I think if you hook you could get the 12.3...let me know dude. I got practically the same set up minus the ported TB and I'm dying to know what you run with the same mods that I have.

TORK? 03-31-2008 11:19 PM

I've done my runs on 245 nitto dr's. Did a nice 1-2 gear burnout. More than that though its about track prep. My best 60' came right after this pro-mod car and they put all types of vht down for him so I reaped the benefits

Speedmonster185 04-01-2008 03:31 PM

They're here...... :)

I'm going to get them on sometime this week :D

allbaugh_04 04-13-2008 06:51 PM
