Default 12.1 @ 109 Video

Went out to Montgomery Motorsports Park today to test out the new stall converter. There weren't that many people out there so we got plenty of runs. Ran a 12.189 @ 109.22. I had a couple of better 60's, but that was my best ET. I'm knocking on the door of the 11's. I've got a NOS wet kit waiting to be installed. However I would like to run an 11 n/a.

Video of the 2 fastest runs of the day for me...

On my first pass I busted a Viper. His ET was ever so slightly faster than mine, but I got the hole shot and won by about a tenth.

Wow nice clean video's....those times remind me I need to get my stall in before I run...Are you brake stalling at all or are you just stomping it off the line?

I was stalling to about 1500 rpm and then flooring it. I've heard that its easier on your rear end if you don't shock it off the line so much. I tried to stall it up a little higher a couple of times, but I would just spin really bad. I guess I'll need a little more rubber to get a faster 60'. I'm running 255/50/16 MT ET Street Radials at the moment. However, I did peel off about a pound of rubber off the back end of my car tonight, so it looks like I'll be tire shopping before too much longer.

Great runs dude you are a tad bit quicker, its true to stall up a little to be easier on the rear but my best 60 ft. was flashing the converter when the track was really hooking.......gotta luv the mt drag radials!

Pretty nice. I'm giddy to see you guys have this awesome ETs. I'll be running mine next weekend w/ my friend's MT ET street radials. I'm soo hoping for similar ET results.

Thanks, I did have better 60's throughout the day (I think my best was a 1.65), but that was the fastest ET. I may try flashing the stall the next time out just to see what it does. I really need to do some suspension work to get that 60' much lower though. I have absolutely no suspension mods whatsoever.

The tower has stairs that lead to the roof. Everytime we go we bring some chairs to go up there. The camera is a Sony HDR-HC3 1080i HD Camcorder. It takes some pretty good quality video.

I agree. you might see some low 1.6s with a few susp. mods. Do you remove the front swaybar?

Nope, the suspension was literally as it was from the factory. I did have a couple of local guys tell me that I should remove the swaybar for my next trip out.
