12's at last Finaly broke into the 12's last wed. running a 12.89@106.19 with a 1.85 60 at 3560lbs. on Nitto 555RII. I have to admit this is better than I was hopeing for. The car has LT's with a 3" X-pipe, LS6 intake, ported throttle body, lid, K&N, a 3600 stall, and the stock 2.73 gears. It has a little tuneing, log on dyno showed a little rich but I havn't hade a chance to add another bung for a wideband yet. We'll see what I can get with some 3.73's and a little more tuneing. |
Dont know if you pulled the air cleaner out when you ran but that helps out a few tenths if you have under the airbox cut out. Plus when you put the 373's in you could be in the low 12's or high 11's. Good Luck! |
what brand stall do you have,i have been looking for a stall but dont want to make the wrong choice. |
I ended up getting a 12.33 on a really hot humid night....I love the 3.73 gears with 3600 stall.

Ran two 12.83 runs last night at 106.99 and 106.91, I'll have the gears in soon. It's a TCI that's in the car, I prefer Yank but it was given to me so... |
