I love sweet thunders. That G8 got dusted. I hope it was a V6.

Congrats. 1st time out and you run 12's? Outstanding. Follow the instruction in the sticky at the top of this forum and you can get your title changed.

Wow 11.09 mph what happened you slam the brakes :D

JonCR96Z Sep 22, 2008 02:35 PM

Yeah MPH seems low. I call BS!

formula4437 Sep 22, 2008 08:32 PM

sorry 111.09 mph

JonCR96Z Sep 22, 2008 08:53 PM

Oh, well I might believe that, but lets go through the motions anyway. What was the breakdown of the whole run? What was the DA? Any dyno numbers?

darrensls1 Sep 23, 2008 06:06 AM

Nice job! But only a 1.85 60'? Are you sure you didn't spin at all?

For two years I ran 12.3-12.4 @ 109 on 1.65-1.75 60's with just a lid, full exhaust, ported TB and TCI 3500. Full weight, stock suspension, 3.23 gears and M/T 255/50R16 street radials.

I know that converter can hit a really good 60'. But congrats again, the first pass in the 12's was such a great feeling!

formula4437 Sep 23, 2008 04:33 PM

i probably did spin but it felt good, if i did spin it wasent real bad, also they are street tires

WSsixed Sep 23, 2008 08:55 PM

Congrats man!

WOW! That's actually a very impressive 60' time for street tires. Good job. If you go with some sticky drag radials down the line then low 12's are just waiting for you.

Headers, converter on a A4 = 12 sec runs, congratz!

JonCR96Z Sep 24, 2008 07:14 PM

In my case it was: lid, catback A4 = 12s
