Most people go WCCH; TEA;( I forget a few others) or a local engine builder.
If I ever build a LS3 416 that I am dreamiong about, I'll most likely go TEA

They are really well known in the LT1 world and big with the GTO guys. They have done setups for 9 sec NA LT1s and 500rwhp heads/cam GTOs.
You really get what you pay for with Ai.

Lots of good head porters out there for LS3 stuff. The PRC heads always perform well & the cost to cnc your heads is very very reasonable. I'd call & discuss pricing & options with all the major companies. I think you'll find the PRC heads compete very well & make very good power next to the competition.
If your feeling crazy I'm finishing the PRC LS3 & LS7 heads configured to go ona LS3 bore. Both heads will move lots of air compared to ported stock castings!!

Well I had my heads all packed up ready to ship to TEA, problem is they never answer there phone, I left a message no call back, thing is if I am going to spend $1400+ of my money with a company I expect them to answer there phones or atleast call back the same day, I have a set of TEA ported 5.3 heads already and I am very pleased but I am now looking at other options, They just seem to have the best complete package price it was $1400 to CNC the complete head intake/exhaust/chambers, new .650 springs and retainers and locks, and new stainless valves, mill the heads to my chamber cc, I have not found a better deal yet. I am going to contact a few of the choices listed above. Thanx for the input.

Certainly feel free to shoot us a quick email w/ car and application info, or leave us a VM. We've just about caught up on everything we missed over the holiday and should get to calls/emails received yesterday-today by this evening.

"Best" can be subjective. Best performance? Best consistency? Best finish? Most builders who have ran our parts have the same commentary regarding our machine work relative to what is commonly sold. However, not everyone wants or needs the nicest work sold. Lots of options from entry level to high end when it comes to cylinder heads. Invariably, you will never receive what you do not pay for.

I went with Lingenfelter and they can be reached anytime, I got their heads with the hollow intake valves, sodium filled exhaust valves and milled to my specs with patriot golds for 1600! But ill be replacing them with comp 925's for my cam.
I believe they charge 1k for their cnc'ing work.
