Default tach and tripometer not working

i was working on my totaled car today and noticed that the tach and mileage dont work. i am missing the fuse block cover, so i dont know which fuses i need. i didnt know that it was possible for the tripometer to go out. any suggestions? i am missing the mass airflow sensor thing, but it seems like it runs fine, thought that was weird.

There is a fuse but it's for the whole instrument cluster, so if your other gauges are working then I don't think that would be the problem... but for future reference since you don't have your fuse-box covers, here are the fuse diagrams from a 1999 manual
