Will the C6 shift knob fit a Lou's Short Stick?
is it supposued to fit it? no.....
can you ghetto fit it by basically cross threading it onto the stocker? yes....
I see you have a Pro 5.0. Why not do it correctly. Hands down the cleanest shifter possible for our cars is the 03/04 cobra shift ****. Just get a pro 5.0 stick off ebay for the cobra's, and a shift **** for the 03 cobra. The the shift **** from the cobra and the stick are a DIRECT replacement for the pro 5.0 stic you are currently running.
Don't ghetto engineer, and then have that cross thread rip off on you when you are power-shifting 3-4 shift at the track...that is NOT a fun experience...

I completely agree about the rigging. Right now I have the pro 5.0 shifter with the UMI short stick on it. I just hate the stock ROUND shifter, so I was looking at getting something a little different. That is all.
It will NOT slip off it takes a strap wrench to get it all the way on and it is tight!I installed one on a ws6store short stick.It was kind of a pain to get on and it wasn't sloppy at all.But if you would rather have a ford **** then go for it.And its not really cross threaded since there aren't any threads to begin with.Its smooth on the inside and slightly smaller than the stick.The threads act as a cutting tap and cut the threads into the plastic.And if your wondering the gm pn is 10354701,for the c6 ****.
.I cant say I dont like the cobra ****,but when it comes down to it i'd take a vette part over a cobra part any day of the week!
