Default Who has a Strange S60 rear end?

Who has them and with what internals and any complaints?

I am thinking of getting a 40 spline gun drilled, spool with street gear.

Anyone have any problems racing on these?

That's the next thing I have to figure out is how much I want to narrow it because I have a lot of clearance 17" to the tubs and actually 16 3/4" to the shock/LCA.

My shock will mount on the same bracket as my LCA bracket right above the LCA is where the shock will mount.

Who has photos of a 315 60 15 on a 15x12 or same size tire on 15x12???

I want mine to tuck in. I want about 3/4" clearance on the inside so that will give me 2" of clearance from the fender lip which should tuck it in pretty good and let me lower it some.

I narrowed mine 2.5 on each side then just put the wheel in the same location by running a 10" rim on a 5" BS rim. I run the 30" DRAG radials.

I have to narrow mine more than 2.5" per side I am going to run a 12" wide rim and want the tire to tuck.

I will end up with 5-6" per side would be my guess with the back space I want to run.

i"ve sold several of them and the only complaint i've heard is about the noise. it seems as if the Dana Corp. gears that Strange is installing has been the problem. maybe if you buy one request that Strange installs a Motive or better yet, US Gear brand. anyone intersted in these or other rearends, pm me for a quote. i have the best prices by far for all of them, including the new bolt-in fabricated 9 inch.

I think their standard gear they install is a spicer gear.

Thanks for the tip.

What did you pay for your rear end and where did you get it from and what setup did you go with.

I twisted both axles with 280 miles on my s60. Im getting another set form strange, they said my old ones were fine? I was hoping there were soft or some defect that shouldn't happen again? So I guess I just have to cross my fingers, and hope it dosn't happen agian, sence no problem was found or fixed. I have 330whp, I spend a LOT of money on this rearend. It is not even funny how overkill this rear end should be for my car, my stock 10 bolt was fine. I raced on it all the time.

Wow. What spline axles? Thats just wow. Because I'm over 1100rwhp and not single problem even cutting bottom 1.4 60' times and about 6000 street miles this year.
