Thumbs up I bought a intake off a blown motor!! Part 2
About 3 months ago i started a thread about me buy a ls6 intake off a blown motor.It had alot of debri and metal shavings in it and i took it home and cleaned it up good. Well i finally put it on about 2 week ago and i have no problems at all other that i left the knock sensor unpluged and my car threw a code. So i had to take the intake back off etc etc and now everythings fine.

The intake I just bought came from a blown up '04 Zo6. I had metal shavings in mine too. How did you get them out. I first used an air compressor to blow everything then I just shook it around so I could hear if anything was clanking around.

I got my LS6 intake for a dollar, literally, when a good buddy of mine went to a FAST 78.

Truly, the cheapest 10RWHP you could get.

I took parts cleaner and brake cleaner and rinsed that **** all in there. Then took a shop vac and compressed air to it.

Regardless of your views on the disputes between '00 Z and Gummi....your still hi-jacking this guys thread.

WOW I cant beleive u got it for a dollar. Good deal man! I got mine for $150 and I thought it was a steal haha.
