Chas...I would just get it dyno tuned at the dyno shop in Springdale, they have their own software plus you can see the results on the dyno.. It's like $400 and obviously dyno runs are included..

i know a guy who got his car tuned there. he said they use a diablo tuner. that doesn't sound very percise. his car runs so rich you smell gas when its at idle. but thats just what that guy said. i could be wrong.

Ed Wright Performance in tulsa,ok quoted me $650 to FASTCHIP dyno tune on my car. has anyone had any work by them? is this a good tune? price dosen't matter as much as getting the best tune i can get. if they are very good at what they do and know how to safely get the most hp and tq out of my car then it is worth it for me.

Your next closest options are Ed Wright in Tulsa (http://www.fastchip.com/) or my buddy Kris in Little Rock also does some tuning (02402RAMAIR https://ls1tech.com/forums/member.php?u=44411)

I don't believe Ed is tuning currently last I heard.
You are going to need to go to Little Rock or OKC as far as I know. I had mine tuned at XP in OKC but lately some others here have had issue so you might look around.
I would not want my car tuned with a Diablo unless it is the full tuning software. I would work with Frost doing a/f ratio runs on a dyno and sending him the pcm for mail order before I would use a canned tune from a programmer.
But your best best is to look around in OK, Central AR, or Memphis.

Hey bro, if you HAVE to get something done here in NW Arkansas.. Give Dave @ A & E Dyno in Springdale a call (https://ls1tech.com/forums/9258566-post2.html) and he will tune it on his dyno with a Diablo tuner...

p.s. don't go to springdale...i have personally seen 2 cars tuned by them and i was not impressed. diablo tunning is not the correct way to tune a modified car.

any recommendations on tuners?
Mine was tuned at House of Boost in KC before I got it, which seems like a pretty legit place, but I've got a high idle PITA that I want fixed and i'm not sure if its in the tune or somewhere else.

sorry to re-revive a old thread, but i was wondering what one of those guys here in NWA would charge me just to run my saturn on the dyno? im just curious as to how much power its making after making a couple minor changes,
its a 95 saturn SL2 dohc automatic front wheel drive.

The Hotrod powertour is coming through Little Rock in early June. They usually have a dyno contest at each stop/city. If you haven't been to a powertour before, it would definitely be worth the drive just to see the cars. IMO
