You should probably read it again, its saying what literally every other source is saying (and seems to be what you are saying as well...)
Which is what the link states in a nutshell.
Not really sure where you are going with this... This is common knowledge. The dyno reads torque at the wheels divided by gearing, and you add a 15-20% drivetrain loss to that to get crank torque (and power).
