PTV clearences Can any one tell me how much clearence i should have, or whats the minimum i should have between the intake and piston and the exaust and piston for a car that will hit 6800-7000 rpm at the track. Im looking to mill and throw on some thinner gaskets to bump up my compression but i need to know the answer to this before i can start figuring out numbers.

i would say to find the maximum valve clearence you can have with the set up you have or stock heads... before you have piston to valve problems and then see what your valve clearence is and see if you have excessive difference between what you have and the maximum you can have... and if you do i dont think u would have any problems...
