Default Need Help, Camaro tail lights

Im about to start my project of making led tail lights out of the stock lights. does anyone know if the tail lights will come apart the same way the head lights do? by putting them in the oven at 200F for 20mins. im trying to find out the best way to get the lenses off without cutting anything. so hopefully i can just peel them apart after heating them. i wanted to check to see if anyone tried this before i go and do it.

sorry but they dont come apart, and honestly you dont want to retain the rear part anyways. if you look at the contours of the back, the LEDs wont look even if you use that. I cut the back off and made new plates and sealed those in.

sorry if i didnt give you the answer you were looking for.

easiest way is to make a clean cut with a dremel and epoxy them back on

There is a thread of this. Someone cut the backing off the lens and refitted it with LEDs on a NEW panel/backing...
