They are a wonderful tire and I recommend them to everyone. I think they are 2nd to SZ50's in traction (not enough to matter) but they have a little bigger tread width on the same size tire. They look alot better too. I cant hear any noise, but then again, look at the sig.

Good tires. Only time you might hear them would be on exit ramps when the engine is spinning real slow. Look good too.

Thanks for the replies folks...also would you know if the tread patterns are compatible with Eagle GS-C's? The reason I'm not replacing my fronts with GS-C's is that they cost too much!
Please tell me it's okay to mix/match!

I compared these to the Firestone SZ50 EPs when I was looking. Darn near the same tire, but two things made me pick the SZ50 EPs over the RE730s. 1) customer comments all rated the wet traction of the SZ50s over the RE730s (which was a BIG factor in my decision, it was why I was buying new tires, the Eagle GAs sucked in the rain) and 2) the SZ50 EPs were sold to me for about $10 less per tire (so I saved about $40) than the RE730s (at 285/40/17 size).

Otherwise, they are a fine tire and I would have gotten them if they were cheaper. If you aren't overly concerned with wet traction, look at the BFG G-Force KDs.
