allright buddies! serious opinions needed!!!
i have an artic white 97 ws6 t/a, pic in sig, she was rear ended by a drunk driver 9/10/08 and i need parts. heres the thing, i love my white and NBM scheme, but i really love pewter birds, always had a thing for them. i have someone in missouri who did a deep mettalic orange LT1 with blackbird stripes and black ceta mod (which i hate), blackbird stripes i LOVE, but i CANT get over the *** end of my car, everyone else loves it too. i just found a rear bumper i need thats pewter, so my question IS, should i have it repainted and continue my white and NBM theme, or should i paint it pewter, should i do NBM black bird stripes? i think the NBM stripes i have would be too much on pewter ws6 lt1. i like to be different and id like everyones input. i have zinc plated drilled and slotted rotors and i was after the ccw 505A's, i was going to have them painted NBM to match my stripes, but if i go pewter i have to rethink my entire color sheme, NBM is so dark tho i could prolly get away with black bird stripes and my "stripe" i have on the bumper instead of the ceta mod. i HATE ceta mods so pls dont request it, its not gonna happen. heres some pics of her now
picture this same car only as pewter with the same nbm stripes, or should i go blackbird stripes and only have the small stripe above the license plate?
blackbird stripes on one of my fav LT1's -

I wouldn't paint your whole car Pewter then do NBM on top of it. I've seen it before and I really thought the Blue looked out of place. I'd stay with the white and do NBM Blackbird stripes.

Brynnda I hate to hear about your car getting hit! I know how much you like pewter but if you go that route you have to have the door jams, the t-top area, the inside of the deck lid, the engine bay and under the hood painted too. So thats going to be some significant out of pocket expense for you. It would probably be better to just paint it white and sell it and buy a pewter WS6 with the difference in money it would cost to paint it (unless you just want to keep YOUR car.) I personaly like it in white and changing up the stripes will make it fresh to you too. And the *** end looks great (the cars! ) with the stripe around the bumper....I hate the CETA mod too!!!

White Fbodys are the **** man. You just dont see a lot of them, I dont anyway.
theres something about a fast white car.
I think you should consider ditching the plain racing stripes for something that flows with the lines of the car like the blackbird stripes, or maybe even the single center stripe like
that of the 94 aniversary ed. white/blue stripe t/a's.
A set (your paint yours) of those anodized blue WS6 wheels from the 98 aniversary TA's would also look **** with the White/ NBM theme.
When I had a '00 WS6 it was pewter and I hated it at first, It was the one color I didnt
want. But I found the car, it was clean and the price/ options where right. Its now one
of my fav colors b/c it really pops at night. But I wouldnt trade white for pewter, and I
wouldnt combine NBM with pooter.
My T/A had charcoal hood stripes and a matching ceta bumper.
There was a chick in my town with the same car, same stripes and ceta
but in red. It looked crazy.
Heres some pics of my bird shortly before I had to part with her.

Im stuck on pewter with the NBM stripes (not blackbird). I think NBM with a little more metallic flake would look SICK with pewter and flow really well. The shop I use is the ONLY body shop I will ever go to, Ive been screwed over before and these guys do amazing work, very professional, they really know there ****. I can show you the work they did to my NBM TA if you want.... I would keep the 505s chrome, chrome looks really good with NBM. Shoot me a PM and ill help you out.
