Halo's

How does anyone like the fit of the halo's? Is there a difference in them? I had a set i bought off of e-bay a few years ago. They fit like crap and the rubber seal that goes around them only lasted a few months. I ended up doing the whistler mod to my stockers. Are the newer ones any better? I paid like $120 for the first ones were they just cheap lol!!!

I see them priced from around $100 to $260 anyone have the ones with the fluorescent halo instead of the led one? I'm getting my car painted and going to go with either the halo's or a aftermarket set of stockers.

The fitment is not stock and the rubber seal is crap, but they look nice with HID's.

do you remember what ones you have and what you paid for them? You can PM me with the info

If you use the mounting bracket from your stock lights, they fit perfectly. It's the bracket that comes with the halos that sucks, not the light itself. I reused my stock bracket and the halos sit right where the factory lights did.

cool i can't remember if i used the bracket that came with the halo's or the factory one (It was a long time ago lol ) Anyone have any input on the Price V.S. quality should i spend the extra $$ on the expensive ones or are they all the same?

On my Z I used the stock mounting brackets and the driver's side one fit pretty good but there was a gap on the passenger side. I really like my halos other than the gap and never had any problem with the seal, but I only had them on the car for like a year before I sold it. I am thinking about getting some black ones for the SS and putting the red leds in for the halo so it look real mean. As far as the difference most are pry all made from the same mold. I can't see spending a lot more for one vs the other. Btw I have seen where guys have resealed the rubber around the outside so they last longer.

I bought my set for $132 on ebay, haven't installed them yet since its winter and I'm letting my stock set get ruined by another winter... But I plan to use spacers to fix the gap, I've seen many people do that on here since the brackets suck.
