yep took it to a chassis shop, and they did the hood, and wheel wells. The wheel wells were worked to fit a 29" tire, you might even get a 30" in there it would be real close though. They did a good job keeping the factory shape. The folds on the wheel wells look just like they did from GM.
Oh yeah you have to massage the inside edge of the fender well also.

How much did they charge you for the fender work to get the 28" to fit? I'm going to need to do the same and would like to have it done right. Do you think any good body shop could do this?

The car was away for 6 weeks, and those pics were from the night it came home. That was dust from custom fitting the hood. VFN flubbed my order, and sent me a hood that goes on one of those top fuel funnycar type one piece bodies..it was like 30" too long, and 4" too wide. Its all clean now

Larry, I think its okay to wash the test-dirt off of your car. LOL!
For those that don't know, Larry usually has this car showcar clean. It sat outside for a long time at the chassis shop though.
Larry, call me on Wednesday afternoon if you are going to HRP. I'll drive over after work, maybe I'll bracket race my GMC

Looks great!
I however don't like how many Dzus the shop used, I can understand why (air getting in thru the half nostrils) but it looks like a PITA to take off. My buddy had 6 Dzu's on his 4" Stang hood.
Did they cut the rear bumper cover?
